South African rap superstar Cassper Nyovest has dismissed reports that he owes some unpaid royalties to DJ Sumbody.
Cass made headlines for not paying DJ Sumbody his rightful royalties for various projects they worked on including the hit song ‘Monate Mbulaye.’
Mufasa was quick to pour water to the rumors saying it’s all lies.
He tweeted “Week in, week Out, cassper what what Cassper what y’all write any f****n thing as long as my name is there!!” he said.
He added, “the lies don’t stop!!! Lmao… wtf man?? Does my name sell that many papers? That’s the only thing that would make sense cause woow.”
An article by City Press alleged that DJ Sumbody who’s real name is Oupa Sefoka had taken Cass to court again for a court order to settle the matter of unpaid royalties.
Last year, new school rapper Tshego, who was previously signed under his record label, dragged the singer to court for exploitation, the matter has not been ruled yet.
