Somizi dismisses tweets of him swearing at husband Mohale as fake

South African media personality Somizi has said tweets of him swearing at his husband, Mohale, were photoshopped and therefore fake.

This comes after the couple was on twitter top trends on Monday morning as a screenshot picture of Somizi responding to his husband’s tweet made the rounds.

In the picture, Mohale had tweeted saying, “For the record, abusers and scammers are two different things. I’ll stop here.” In response to the tweet Somizi said, Wena uzonya msunu smunner smunest.”

The picture was retweeted more than a thousand times and caused havoc on the tweeter streets.

Setting the record straight Somgaga took to twitter and said both tweets were fake and were doctored.

“Shhhhhmmmmmmmm maan talking about reaching… this is malicious but I’m glad we have a platform to correct it… both tweets are fake,” tweeted Somizi.

Somizi and Mohale have had their marriage under scrutiny for the past couple of months as rumors of a divorce rocked their union.

Questions on whether the couple was still together started popping when they stopped posting each other on social media and have not been seen in public together for a very long time. At one time Somizi accused Mohale of cheating and not giving him much needed attention.

Fueling the rumors Mohale stopped wearing his wedding ring. Somizi has been having vacations with his ‘best friend’ Vusi Nova, while Mohale spends most of his time with friends.

Somizi also stopped following Mohale on Instagram and Twitter.
