Letoya Makhene and Lebo Keswa tie the knot in beautiful ceremony

South African soapie “Generations The Legacy” actress Letoya Makhene traditionally tied the knot with lover Lebo Keswa who is a businesswoman.

The couple has not yet officially shared images from their big day but friends have already done so. The traditional event was themed in an ‘African Royalty’ way.

Programme director Dr Criselda Kananda shared an emotional message on her Instagram.

“Congratulations Lebo Keswa and Letoya Nubia Makhene . Toya and Lebo, yesterday you gave meaning to unconditional love and loving.

“As I awake this morning I give thanks to God Almighty for the gift of love, blessings and teachings about love, and your ancestors for sealing your covenant yesterday.”

She went on to thank Yenana for giving the wedding a spiritual symbolism and Bishop Jessica Mbangeni who gave a sermon on the day. Makhene and Keswa publicly professed their relationship after they were ‘exposed’ by weekly tabloid publication.

The couple has received a number of homophobic attacks on social media but have maintained their relationship. Letoya also said she has received a lot of support from family and friends which is one of the reasons why she has been firm in the relationship.
