‘I hope Dineo is OK’ — Pearl Thusi grateful she left ‘toxic’ Metro FM

Date:

South African actress Pearl Thusi taken to twitter in solidarity with radio personality Dineo Ranaka who was allegedly suspended from Metro FM radio.

The radio presenter was allegedly suspended for participating in the viral #umlandochallenge on company property.

In her tweet, Pearl said leaving the public broadcaster was one of the ‘best things’ she did in her life.

“One of the best things I ever did for myself esteem and growth was fo leave Metro FM. It’s one of the decisions I’m proudest of. I hope Dineo is okay,” she wrote.

Responding to a fan who said Dineo deserved it because she is ‘toxic’, the Queen Sono actress also claimed that Metro FM is a very toxic work environment.

“I can’t control Dineo’s actions or anyones feelings about them- however, Metro is the most toxic environment I’ve ever encountered. That remains regardless of who she is or isn’t,” said Pearl.

Pearl previously made it clear that she’d never go back to Metro FM ever again.

“I would rather die,” she said in response to a fan who said they had missed her along with her former co-host Phat Joe.

In the video that has been making rounds on social media, Dineo is seen dancing on top of studio furniture which obviously did not sit well with her employers.
