Dineo Ranaka back on Metro FM after ‘going through a sh*t storm’

Date:

South African radio personality Dineo Ranaka has announced that she’s back on radio after she was allegedly suspended last week.

The radio personality and Reality TV star was unscheduled last week after participating in the viral #Umlandochallenge on company property.

She took to Instagram to announce her return to the airwaves on The Bridge show from 9am to 12am.

She said she was excited to be back on the mic and had three major moves to celebrate to kickstart her week. Her radio comeback at the station, a new TV show loading and her single ‘Ukhona’ featuring Nkowazi and Regalo Joints.

“Its wild because they are chasing me because I’m chasing traffic, I’m in-between lanes. I’m moving fast.

“I’m in a hurry. I’m on my way to the Metro FM studios. Suspension is dropped. I’m being reinstated 9-12 on. Also its a big week. It’s a fast week for me. I’m moving fast,” she said.

Her suspension sparked controversy on social media as people defended her saying it was unfair and she did nothing wrong.

In the video which led to her suspension, Dineo is seen dancing on top of the company’s furniture doing the viral dance challenge.

Actress Pearl Thusi came to her defense saying Metro FM was a ‘toxic work environment’.
