Actor Patrick Shai apologizes after insulting Cassper Nyovest’s mom

Date:

South African veteran actor Patrick Shai has issued an apology to rapper Cassper Nyovest for disrespecting his mother.

Shai hit the top trends after a video clip of him spitting fire aimed at Cassper circulated on social media.

Many social media users including Cass himself were left confused as to how and why Shai was attacking the singer.

Following the backlash from Cassper’s fans, Shai has issued an apology.

He apologized for using strong language towards Cassper’s mother.

“I should have known better as an adult. My apologies, I humbly, from the bottom of my heart, apologize for having used strong language towards your mom.

“Even though the challenge would’ve been an ideal thing but now it has been soured by what I said.

“I apologize from the bottom of my heart, please forgive me and forgive me South Africans. I am regretting every bit of the last sentence that I used, I’m sorry,” he said.

Although Shai has apologized, his apology could not stop Mufasa from expressing how the moment did not sit well with him.

Cass took to twitter slamming the actor for using his name to trend on social media.

“These are some weird times yo. When everyone runs out of ideas to trend they just think ‘Cassper Nyovest’.

“If there’s one thing I regret about my fame is how my family has been disrespected by strangers. I try so hard to be about my own business but it’s always sh*t like this and I have to keep moving to protect my brand cause brands will never understand. This is too much man,” wrote Cass.

In his trending video, Shai challenged Cassper to a boxing match.

“Before I die I want to make sure that I’ve beat you so that on my tombstone they can write ‘this is the man who beat Caster or Costa or whatever your sh*t name is… come you son of a b**tch,” said Shai.
