‘Idols SA’ winner Zama Khumalo finally releases first snippet off debut album

Date:

Idols SA season 16 winner Zama Khumalo has released the first snippet from her debut album with the lead single ‘Is’thunzi.’

The songstress won the talent search competition in 2020 and left her fans waiting for almost a year without releasing a major project.

Zama has finally revealed that the wait is over and she will be releasing her album “In The Beginning” on November 12.

Her record label Kalawa Jazmee apologized for the delay.

“As you are aware, we are a record label that takes pride in making quality music and while we had originally planned for a September release, a number of factors including Covid-19 meant we had to move that date,” read the statement.

Although Zama hasn’t released a major project she has featured in a project released by her boyfriend Brandon Dhludhlu whom she started dating during theatre week.

The titled Ngimtholile was a big success as it sparked a social media challenge called #ngimtholilrchallenge where fans and couples shared videos of their loved ones.
