Date:

Television personality and Big Brother Naija housemate Mercy Eke has come out guns blazing at men who ‘slut shame’ hard working women.

The Big Brother Naija season four winner posted on her twitter page saying such people are stupid.

“If you have a mother and also have sisters, and you slut shame hard-working women, shame on you. And if you are a woman and partake in such stupidity, I don’t have words for you. You all should know better,” she tweeted.

A twitter user with the name, Mathias Ukweanya responded saying: “Easy sweetheart, you should expect negative talks by now, some are jealous, some are clueless and always negative on people’s progress while some are born stupid. Just keep winning I love your personality”

“I wonder how these people think. Poverty mentality is killing us in this country, every successful woman is always slut-shamed, don’t mind them Nne, they keep hating, you keep moving forward,” another user said.

Mercy won Big Brother Naija in 2019.

She made history as she was crowned the first female winner of the television reality show after spending 99 days in a locked house. She walked away with N60 million (USD$157 000).

She is also a video vixen and an entrepreneur known for spending carelessly. She made headlines after spending USD$3000 on gifts for her friend.
