“Last wife or not, I am happy” Regina Daniels on criticism she is 6th wife

Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels who is the 6th wife to a Nigerian billionaire, Ned Nwoko has come out guns blazing at critics after a video of her husband saying he can marry more women went viral on social media.

Nwoko told the BBC in an interview that Regina his 6th wife is aware that he can marry another woman because she’s not the last wife.

Social media users were quick to ridicule the young actress. Reacting to the news Regina said she will always be happily married whether she is the last wife or not.

“I love my husband, Ned Nwoko is an amazing father and that’s what is important to me. He shows me so much love. I’m happy, last wife or not.”

“As a matter of fact, my husband can marry more wives. It has never been a problem,” said Daniels as she responded to hate speech coming her way on social media.

Regina’s husband also revealed that he didn’t believe in dating which is why he married Regina three weeks after meeting her and he does the same with all his wives.

“I meet her and I like her. We marry within three weeks. I marry all my wives within the same period. I no believe in dating anybody to marry them.

“No date anybody you wan marry. Wen you marry them, you go begin fall in love within di marriage. Even for my culture, as e be wen I be pikin for di 60s, pipo no dey date,” he said.

The couple got married in 2019. Their marriage sparked controversy as Regina was accused of marrying Nwoko for his money regarding the age difference of 40 years.
