Makhadzi pleads for a Zezuru man .. Zimbabweans flock to her page

Date:

South African musician Makhadzi set social media ablaze on Sunday, after she posted that she is looking for a Zimbabwean man of zezuru extraction on her Facebook page.

Makhadzi’s plea, written entirely in chiShona, had attracted over 14 000 comments by Monday morning.

“Ndirikunamata kuti ndione murume MuShona chaiye chaiye Muzezuru kana Mhofu zvavo,” she posted, much to the delight of Zimbabweans who flocked to her page.

Makhadzi’s post comes only a month after speculation that the hitmaker was now off the market as her businessman boyfriend Lawrence Mulaudzi had reportedly asked for her hand in marriage.

Makhadzi’s relationship with the Limpopo-born businessman first came to light last year after the singer was in an on-and-off relationship with industry mate, Master KG.

The news of Makhadzi’s engagement was shared by South African online publication ZiMoja, which claimed that Lawrence sent delegations to Makhadzi’s family in December.
