Ntsiki Mazwai speaks out against fired Unathi Nkayi getting new gig

Date:

Controversial South African poet Ntsiki Mazwai has spoken out about Idols SA judge Unathi Nkayi getting a new host gig following her scandalous dismissal at Kaya FM.

She took to twitter to responding to news that she now has landed a new hosting job after a story that she was dismissed for allegedly filing false abuse reports against Sizwe Dhlomo.

“In the GBV climate we have in South Africa. A woman is alleged to have lied about someone and almost ended their career and reputation in an act of malice… and you give her a TV show for little girls to know that you can lie about men and be rewarded for your lie? For real?” said Mazwai.

Mazwai also added that such lies as the one she claims Bonang Matheba made about ‘girls with vinegards’ were different from Unathi’s who claimed to have been abused by her co-worker.

“The difference between an ‘I have a vineyard’ lie and ‘he verbally abused me and I was scared for my life’ lie is that the second lie is directly linked to the gbv pandemic in the country Yangthola?” she said.

Following the series of tweets she hosted a twitter space together with former Kwaito star Kabelo Mabalane who received backlash with many claiming he used to be a perpetrator of GBV and shouldn’t be placed in the centre of the fight.
