Fans want ‘Idols SA’ to ‘swallow their pride and bring back Somizi’

It’s been a month since South African media personality Somizi Mhlongo made his last appearance on talent search competition Idols SA and fans are feeling the pinch of his absence.

Fans of the shows have always shared their disappointments about the episodes without their ‘favorite’ judge Somizi.

As the competition gets tougher and contestants narrow down to top nine, Idols SA viewers still can’t handle the fact that Somizi is not part of the show.

Last week it was also revealed that the show’s ratings declined by a third soon after Somgaga made his last appearance.

On Sunday after the top nine performances, users took to twitter calling for the return of Somgaga saying the show is not the same without him.

@denzelkarupa said: “Let’s just admit that the show ain’t the same without Somgaga.”

@cheeriobabe said: “I don’t know if @IdolsSA is listening to us enough or as well as they should be. BRING BACK SOMIZI!!! How are we supposed to enjoy our favorite show without him?”

@simplyvamis said: “The only thing missing from Karabo’s performance is Somizi’s wooooooshem.”
