The glory never ends for Master KG who has reached yet another milestone with his global hit “Jerusalema” which has gained over 1 billion streams on short-form video platform TikTok.

Master KG and TikTok have confirmed the development.

Sharing the exciting news on twitter Master KG said, ‘”Jerusalema” Has over A Billion views on TikTok alone Damn Bro this song doesn’t wanna stop!!! This is freaking Amazing!’

Master KG’s song which features vocalist Nomcebo became a global hit in 2020 as it was used as a beacon of hope that brought smiles and united people around the world during the devastating Covid-19 pandemic.

Fans of Master KG and those who had fallen in love with the song took to TikTok to recreate a choreographed dance routine by Angola based Fenomenos do Semba dance group.

Since then, the track has received international recognition and has been viewed on the app more than 1 billion times. It has topped the charts in Europe and the US.

The song has over 372 million views on YouTube since its release in 2019.
