Burna Boy set to perform at the Grammys 2021 premiere ceremony

Nigerian music giant Burna Boy is set to rock the stage on the 14th of March at the 63rd virtual Grammy Awards 2021.

Burna Boy who last year performed at the Warner Music –Pre-Grammy event- will this year hit the main stage during the main event of the night.

The Nigerian megastar is also nominated for his album, Twice As Tall in the Best World Music Album category together with Anoushka Shankar, Antibalas and many others.

Another African taking up the big stage at the Grammys this year is South African comedian Trevor Noah who takes up the main stage as the host of the glamorous event.

The awards were initially scheduled for 31 January but were later postponed to 14 March due to the “deteriorating Covid situation in Los Angeles,’ where the virtual ceremony is set to take place.

Awards lovers will have to stream the awards on streaming services such as CBS and other streaming platforms or ‘over-the air- broadcast channels.

Meanwhile, activities at this year’s Grammy Week, will take place from 8-14 March and these include Grammy in the School Fest, Women in the Mix, the inaugural Black Music Collective Grammy Week Celebration and the Grammy U Master class.
