WATCH: South African actress Thando Thabethe buys mother a house

South African Actress and media personality Thando Thabethe is surely serving some daughter goals after she bought her mother a massive house.

The radio presenter took to social media to show off the massive gift she got for her mama. The house is in a gated estate. In the video posted on Instagram, Thabooty took her fans on a virtual tour around the house.

She captioned the video saying, “The best thing I ever did!!! I bought my mama a whole entire house!!”

Thando, who is used to getting backlash on social media, for the first time got some positive responses from both fans and industry colleagues.

Rapper Boity Thulo congratulated her saying, “Congratulations mama!!! You did the damn things!!!”

“My darling….may the blessings of the Lord continue to abide and abound in your life. Kuwenziwa kanje sisi,” said Basetsana Kumalo, a well-known South African business woman.

The video also gained massive traction with about 70 000 likes in just a few hours and hundreds of comments.

Last week Thando made headlines after controversial radio personality MacG told her to focus on posting her nudes on social media and that she was the ‘worst’ radio presenter in South Africa who was demoted from a drive show to the graveyard.

This came after Thando commented on MacG’s transphobic statement saying she wished she could unsee the episode when MacG made jokes about transgender people.

Meanwhile Thabooty banged a major role in an M-Net series titled ‘Reyka’ which is due to be released this year.

She plays the character Detective Nandi Cele and stars alongside Kim Engelbrecht.

Apart from major local productions and soapies, last year Thabooty starred in a Netflix original series called ‘how to ruin Christmas: The wedding’.
