Netflix announce Blood & Water season 2 will drop on September 24

Giant streaming platform Netflix has announced the return of South Africa’s Netflix original series Blood & Water season 2.

The highly anticipated second season of Blood & Water will drop on September 24 this year.

The series which revolves around school kids and family issues was filmed in Cape Town, South Africa starring actress Ama Qamata the lead role who acts as Puleng Khumalo and Khosi Ngema as Fikile Bhele.

Lovers of the series will return to Parkhurst High to watch a rocky start between Puleng and Fikile following the revelation of DNA results and drama testing old alliances and forging new and unlikely friendships.

The return of Blood & Water will see the introduction of new characters including a school therapist and a new hunk, Sam who joins the Parkhurst gang. Both of them bring their own secrets.

Natasha Thahane who plays the role of Wendy Dlamini, the school magazine editor shared the amazing news on twitter with a video of the show’s teasers.

There will be more entanglements and lies and the series is a constant source of break-ups, make-ups and drug deals and the brand new characters promise to stir up the pot.

Some actors include, Thabang Molaba as Karabo ‘KB’ Molapo, Dillon Windvogel as Wade Daniels, Mekaila Mathys as Tahira Kahn, Cindy Mahlangu as Zama Bolton and Arno Greeff as Chris Ackerman.
