Davido’s bodyguard Tijani dies aged 36…. singer hit hard by death

African musical giant, Davido’s private bodyguard, Ogbeide Tijani Olamilekan also known as TeeJay died in the early hours of Tuesday morning, December 8, 2020.

Sources have revealed that the 36-year-old bouncer had been ill for a while. Davido confirmed the death with a black background image which he posted on his twitter handle.

He shared a very emotional tribute for his bodyguard saying he was a man with a big heart and was loved by everyone.

“Please tell me tell me I am dreaming… My Tj gone? What imma do without you uncle Tj ehn.. 11 years you all for me… Put me before you at all times..all the times I wouldn’t wanna wake up for a show or flight you’d carry me like a baby in the car,” Davido wrote.

He further wrote expressing how deep their relationship had become.

“No matter what I did right or wrong you were there for me … To allow me spend money sometimes nah problem.. everytime ‘David don’t worry I’ll use my card’… you were such a big person with a baby heart… Everyone loved you.”

“I wanna wake up late for a show so you’d come and carry me again… I don’t even know what I’m typing man… RIP UNCLE TIJANI tired of being STRONG,” read Davido’s tribute.

Tijani died on Tuesday morning after battling with an undisclosed illness for a while. He is survived by his wife and children.
