South African rapper Cassper Nyovest has assured his fans that his fight against fellow rapper AKA is still on and will happen.

Speaking in a YouTube interview on “Silkour on Life’, Nyovest revealed that has been training for the fight since the lockdown started.
“I was training from the beginning of lockdown and I was fight ready from last month, but then I had a kid and I moved to Durban and I stopped training for a month,” said Cassper.
The Kusazoba lit hit maker said nothing will stop the fight from happening because he was tired of talking and it’s time to fight and put the ‘beef’ to sleep.
“What I want to do is fight. I’m tired of talking, we’ve been talking for so long, so I think we are getting somewhere. The fight is definitely happening. It has to happen.” He said.
The rapper did not only talk about his fight with AKA, he also opened up on his relationship with Riky Rick which has turned sour. Nyovest says he still hasn’t figured out what really happened between him and his longtime friend.
“To be honest we still haven’t got to the bottom of what happened. I’m not confrontational, as soon as I see that the energy is off, I’m out, unless you come to me,” he said.
Tensions between Cassper and Riky increased after the two started addressing their issues in song. Riky Rick accused Cassper of attacking him in some tracks in his latest Any Minute Now Album, Cassper accused Ricky of doing the same.
“There was a couple of subliminal in songs, I could hear. It was not direct but I knew it was for me,” Cassper said.
Cassper has not been in good books with a number of artistes, apart from beefing with AKA and his longtime friend Riky Rick Cassper has also collided with music producer Prince Kaybee.
The rhetorical question remains, who is provocative?
