Some people are endowed with the ability of transforming their dreams into physical reality, and Master KG is no exception. Master KG’s dream to reach a cool 100 million views on YouTube with his mega hit Jerusalema video has finally become a reality.

Jerusalema is that one mega hit song that transcended national borders to become an international hit which is now arguably South Africa’s biggest export of the year in 2020.

Of Course not forgetting the hit spawned the viral #JerusalemaDanceChallenge that easily became a global phenomenon during these treacherous times of the novel Coronavirus global pandemic.

The limpopo- born house prodigy on Thursday couldn’t contain the excitement of his success and took to various social media to celebrate this milestone accomplishment.

Master kG posted on twitter “I still Cant Believe It..Thank you world for making it possible..Shout out to @Nomcebozikode @OpenMicProdSA 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦 Modimo O Maatla!!🙏🙏 #Jerusalema100Million Wanitwa Mos.”

Various SA celebrities and socialites including Bonang Matheba, DJ Fresh, Winnie Mashaba took to social media to congratulate Master KG of being the first local artiste to hit 100 million views on YouTube with his hit song.

Jerusulema was one of the chart-topping hits in 2019 that did not bag an award from the South African Music Awards (SAMAs), nonetheless the song has received an international stamp of approval with fans across the world grooving to the #JerusalemaDanceChallenge.
