South African actress, model and socialite Gail Mabalane has hit back at one of her followers who criticised her for posting a snap of herself in a sexy bikini.

Malabane this week shared a pre-coronavirus mirror selfie of herself dressed in a sexy blue bikini.
The photo which had many tongues wagging was received with dozens of fire emojis expressing appreciation.
However, one follower didn’t share the same sentiments responded with a biblical scripture insinuating the star was defiling her body which was the temple of God.
Malabane would not have it and clapped back, asking if Jesus does not approve of swimsuits.
“Wow, wearing swim wear has now escalated to being a sin? You know it’s taken me 35 years to wear a swimsuit in public because of comments like these.
“It’s Women’s Month, can we normalise not putting unnecessary judgments, expectations and pressures on each other? If you don’t feel comfortable wearing a swimsuit, I respect that but I’m so secure in who I am (in Christ) it’s liberating,” she said.
