South African opposition party United Democratic Movement (UDM) leader Bantu Holomisa has called for cabinet to be dissolved and replaced by a caretaker administration as a measure to curb unbridled government corruption on Covid-19 related funds.
Holomisa proposed that the caretaker administration be installed and run until the next election.
The opposition leader stressed that all corrupt ANC government officials that have colluded with their families to abuse state funds should immediately resign and pave the way for a caretaker administration to formulate robust legislation to curb corruption.
