South Africa's opposition Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) members have filed charges against a white woman who pulled a gun on them outside a Clicks store in Port Elizabeth where they were staging protests against the health and beauty retailer.
Protesters and police clashed on the streets of Motherwell near Port Elizabeth today. Rubber bullets and stun grenades were used to disperse the crowd, who were demanding services.
An SABC News crew was caught up in the chaos. Reporter Zolani Moya and cameraperson Gcobani Blom were both hit by rubber bullets.
