The Kenyan government says 29 people have been killed by flooding caused heavy rains in the past three weeks.
Around 11,700 people have been displaced in that time, and some 10,000 livestock have died, according to government spokesman Col Cyrus Oguna.
Worst affected are the north-eastern and coastal regions.
Kenya’s Meteorological Department has warned that heavy rains will continue in the coming weeks but say weather conditions will likely improve by the end of December.
