Mourinho has been full of praise for Juve since United’s 1-0 midweek Uefa Champions League defeat to the Bianconeri. This despite the fact that he was once in the hotseat at Inter Milan, one of their fiercest rivals.

The 55-year-old complimented them again while speaking to Tuttosport, revealing: “In the tunnel leading to the dressing rooms at our stadium, I told President Andrea Agnelli that they’d win their eighth consecutive Scudetto.

“He replied it wasn’t enough for him and that he wanted to win 10 in a row. I like how Juventus work. Cape Town – Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that Juventus president Andrea Agnelli told him he was aiming for 10 successive league titles.

“They were already very strong and yet they made four more big signings in Cristiano Ronaldo, Bonucci, Emre Can and Cancelo.

“They’re going for the treble and if they don’t succeed in it this season, they’ll try again next year and so on.”

No coach has led an Italian side to Champions League glory since Mourinho’s treble-winning season at Inter Milan.

However, the Red Devils manager is not fairing as well at his current club, who currently sit eighth in the Premier League. Sport24.
