Emtee claims he is still organising his own shows, despite Empire Africa deal

Must read

South African rapper Emtee has said that he has found himself with his back to the wall recently, as his close associates are stealing from him while his record label Empire Africa has also failed to promote his upcoming album.

One year ago after the rapper announced he acquired the services of a manager for the first time in his career, he said nothing seemed to have changed in a career that has appeared on a downward spiral, with accusations of substance abuse.

The rapper, who has been promising a new album for the best part of a year, revealed in a statement that he could not do anything about the release as his hands were tied.

“I cannot remember one thing that has been done for me by them. I organise my own shows, people steal from me, so they laugh and say, ‘he lost it all’, nah bi#ch you stole from me,” read the statement.

Emtee, who left his previous label, Ambitiouz Records, on controversial terms said that the grass was not greener on the other side, as he had found his new bosses negligent.

“Back to the actual story. The night before meeting the CEO, which was 365 days ago. My supporters, family, friends and colleagues have been asking me about this album.

“This has to be the worst moment in my life. I can’t post anything without being asked by millions of supporters about the album. Ambitiouz was hell but they didn’t keep me waiting for a year to even give a f*ck about me.”
