Babes Wodumo, who once accused Makhadzi of chasing and trying to sleep with her husband, the late Mampintsha, has seemingly forgiven the musician, with the two appearing together on the Limpopo artist’s latest album.
Babes and Makhadzi were at each other’s throats in 2021, after Babes posted a clip on Instagram in which she claimed that Makhadzi was trying to steal her husband.
Last week however, Babes seemed to suggest all had been forgiven, as she posted the cover of Makhadzi’s latest album on social media.
“There is nothing more important than forgiveness, especially when we’re women,” she said.
Makhadzi’s manager Maphuti “Perez” Mothapo told TshisaLIVE relations between the two were now cordial.
“Babes Wodumo is featured Not Available. Makhadzi went to Babes Wodumo’s home in Durban and they recorded the song. Babes came to Johannesburg to shoot the music video. All I know is they worked well together on the song and it’s a hit.”
During the tiff three years ago, Makhadzi said she believed the whole thing was a stunt and that in her opinion the husband of the “girl from Durban” wouldn’t be able to satisfy her.
“Imagine my boyfriend hearing that I am trending for another man! Just because someone wants to pull a stunt by mentioning my name… But I forgave her already. And, I replied to satisfy her,” she added in another tweet.
