MacG apologises to Nkosazana Daughter, claims Sir Trill not paying child support

Must read

After revelations that singer Nkosazana Daughter intended to sue him for R13million, controversial podcast host MacG has apologised to her for claiming that Master KG, and not musician Sir Trill, was the real father of her child.

In a July episode of his YouTube show, MacG alleged that Nkosazana Daughter had cheated on her boyfriend, fellow Amapiano artist Tumelo “Sir Trill” Zwane and that the father of her child was not Sir Trill but rather renowned musician and Jerusalema hitmaker Master KG.

MacG further taunted the singer to sue him if his claims were false.

Nkosazana Daughter responded by filing a multi-million rand lawsuit at the Johannesburg High Court, seeking damages for the harm to her reputation and emotional well-being caused by the comments.

MacG has now issued an apology stating that after Nkosazana Daughter’s brother showed him a picture of the child, he noticed a resemblance to Sir Trill.

He insisted that he had issued the apology on his own volition, and not because of the lawsuit that had been filed against him.

In true MacG fashion, the podcaster went on to allege that Sir Trill is not supporting his child.

“Allegedly Sir Trill is not supporting the kid,” MacG said to much laughter from his co-host.

He claimed that the information was from a credible source, referring to Sol Phenduka, who went on to say that he did not expect the information he had given to his co-host in confidence to resurface on the podcast.

In her lawsuit, Nkosazana Daughter alleged that MacG was trying to portray her as a dishonest and promiscuous woman.

“Apart from the defamatory meaning of the claims as set out above, the statements carry the additional sting that the plaintiff is deceitful, promiscuous, unprincipled, untrustworthy, adulterous and a liar, and a person without a moral fibre or valuable principles, and who generally conducts herself in an unethical and/or unprofessional manner,” read the papers.
