Vlakfontein murders: 1 accused changes stance on bail, case postponed – VIDEO

SOUTH AFRICA – Ernest Mabaso and Fita Khupe appeared in the Lenasia Magistrates Court for Khupe’s formal bail application. The two are accused of the murder of seven members of the same family.

The two are charged with seven counts of premeditated murder, two counts of fraud and Mabaso faces an additional three counts of rape.

The police found the bodies of three women and four children buried under sand in a house in Vlakfontein on October 29, after neighbours noticed a strange stench from the house.
